Lesson 3 Exercises: Summary & Explanation
spacer
The references all follow basic APA format. Remember, APA style never drops digits in inclusive page number; titles are always lowercased in references; the volume number in a journal reference is in italics; there is no period after a URL ending a reference or a statement in parentheses. (Original work published 1958) There is no point to studying references to the more obscure sources covered in the APA Manual. After all, the Manual is there as a reference. If you get these mostly right, then you have mastered the essentials of APA documentation. It's not that hard, is it?
